Visit to the Home for the Aged – 19^th December 2014

The Interacters of DAV Public School, Vasant Kunj once again showed warmth and commitment in serving the elderly through their visit to the Home for the Aged at Fatehpur Beri. They decorated the home and the Christmas tree very enthusiastically for the upcoming celebrations. The home filled with life and laughter as the children went about interacting with the elders and made the day a special one for them. They sang prayer songs with the elderly and extended a token of their love to each and every one.

The moments were filled with smiles and tears and the overwhelming experience for both the students and elders gave them beautiful memories to live by.

The Interact Club students often pay a visit to the Old Age Home.

They celebrate festivals with them by decorating their place, carrying gifts and other necessary items for them.

Seasonal visits are also arranged where the students look after the everyday requirements of the elderly. The students, with their frequent visits, are always a source of joy and elation for our beloved elderly.
