Ms. Anju Puri, Principal, D.A.V. Public School, Vasant Kunj was conferred the title of ‘Ambassador- Mission knowledge by Social Research Centre of Indian Federation of United Nations Associations in association with UNESCO. She was honoured with the title in a glittering award ceremony held on the occasion of United Nations Day – 2017. The distinguished presence of Smt. Bijaya Chakravarty, Member of Parliament, Mr. Suresh Srivastava, Secretary General – IFUNA, UNESCO and representatives from UNESCO added a whole new dimension to the event with their thought provoking ideas on dissemination of knowledge and peace.
Mrs. Puri was lauded for her unquenchable thirst for knowledge, commitment to innovation in teaching-learning processes and her dedicated service to the cause of education. The award is a recognition of her selfless service to provide meaningful education for a better world.

Mrs. Anju Puri, Principal, was conferred the State Teacher’s Award in a glittering ceremony organised by the Directorate of Education at Tyagraj Stadium. The award function was held on 5th September, 2016 to honour teachers and educators for their contribution in the field of education. She was presented the award by the Minister of Tourism, Shri K. K. Sharma and Shri Ramesh Negi. Shri Manish Sisodia, Deputy Chief Minister was also present on the occasion.
Mrs. Puri was felicitated for her love and care for her students, the exceptional results of the school reflecting steep academic progress under her leadership and for promoting innovative pedagogy . Her efforts in promoting sports and co-curricular activities were also highly appreciated.

The dynamic and visionary Principal of DAV Public School, Vasant Kunj,Mrs. Anju Puri was honored with the prestigious Teacher’s State Award on 15th September,11. The award was given by hon’ble Chief Minister of Delhi Smt. Shiela Dixit in a glittering ceremony organized at PM’s Auditorium, Delhi Secretariat. Worthy Director of Education, Government of NCT of Delhi Shri Dewan Chand, IAS , also graced the occasion. The award is a small token of recognition and sincere appreciation of her distinguished service and tremendous contribution to the field of education.
