Under the project with GOONJ a huge contribution of uniforms, bags, bottles, woollens etc. were done for the underprivileged children.

Daan Utsav

The students made a tremendous contribution during the 2nd-8th October ,2015 ‘Daan Utsav’ week, under the collection drive projects for the NGO ‘Goonj’. The students not only made a contribution but also devoted a lot of time and effort in methodically arranging and packing the material collected. It was heartening to see such selfless and giving attitude of the youngsters of the Institution towards community service.

 

Contribution to GOONJ by DAV Public School, Vasant Kunj - 20th December 2014

The students made an overwhelming contribution of clothes, woolens, toys etc to the NGO GOONJ in an effort to reach out to the needy and contribute to them in the severe winter, in their own little way.

The DAVians surely have the value of empathy and sharing as they brought out the best they could. The spirit of ‘giving to the needy’ was commendable as packets of the contributions trickled endlessly till the dispatching took place.
