DAV PUBLIC SCHOOL, VASANT KUNJ INAUGURATES ATAL TINKERING LAB

DAV Public School, Vasant Kunj, formally inaugurated Atal Tinkering Lab, established under the patronage of NITI Ayog, on 29th July,17. It was graced by luminaries from the field of education and science.They lit the auspicious lamp at the outset of the ceremony.  Thereafter,  the Chief Guest prof.  A.K. Sharma, former Director, NCERT and Vice President, DAV College Managing Committee, inaugurated the lab.
All the distinguished guests were invited to the exhibition of robots prepared by the students followed by a visit to Science and Art Exhibition.Then  students and teachers assembled in the newly inaugurated lab where a floral welcome was given to the hon’ble Chief Guest Dr. A.K. Sharma and Guests of honour Prof. R.K. Kotnala, Chief Scientist, National Physical Laboratory and Mr. Mayank, Assistant Prof. Delhi Technological University by the Manager of the school Shri H.L. Bhatia and Principal Mrs. Anju Puri.
Prof. Kotnala was requested to share his profound knowledge with the audience. He not only about paradigm shift in green energy he also gave a demonstration of hydroelectric cell invented by him and considered path- breaking invention globally. Prof. Sharma enlightened the students and teachers by talking about various aspects of education. The day long programme ended with a workshop conducted for a group of students by Mr. Mayank.
